Speeds and Feeds are based on slotting conditions with depth of cut equal to the diameter of the end mill.

When profiling, we recommend using a 5 flute GorillaMill running at 20% faster feed rates.

As a general rule, make the Gorillas run harder and spin faster with a heavier chip load; that’s where the value is.

In fact, many machinists use the Gorillas for roughing, as well as a superb finisher.
